Carpe Diem Farms

At Carpe Diem Farms we provide high quality free range eggs to the Taranaki market at a very reasonable price. Our ethos is that healthy, happy birds produce great quality, great tasting free range eggs so we do whatever it takes to keep our birds healthy and happy. All of our birds are 100% free range. Our farm has no cages. We believe that the quality of our eggs results from the high quality feed, daily fresh vegetables that we give to our birds and ample opportunity to forage, peck, scratch and dust bath .

Wherever possible – we support local businesses. I attribute the success of my business this far to the outstanding strong and healthy birds that choose to stay on our farm (our birds are not fenced) and the excellent standard of mentoring that I have received from practicing and retired egg farmers all over the North Island. I am very honored to be joining the Taranaki Farmers Market. it was a great privilege to meet the market trustees when they completed an inspection of our farm. I am looking forward to learning all that I can from them just as much as I am looking forward to meeting you.
