In the midst of the pandemic lockdown, Taranaki-native Rose Lawrence found herself in Burgundy, France, baking in the kitchen of her tiny apartment. What began as a dream was brought to life as Rose returned to Aotearoa with her family in 2021 and Garden Cake Kitchen was born.

Inspired by nature and her passion for flavour, Rose’s cakes and French-style tarts are luxe, luscious, and wildly stylish, elevating any occasion.

Garden Cake Kitchen specialises in custom orders, which include gluten-free and vegan options, using a variety of seasonal fruits and flowers.
